Dumbbell Nebula

After failing to get the Dumbbell Nebula, M 27, a few nights ago, I decided to put the telescope on top of the van and try again. I had recently taken some darks with the gain set to higher-than-60, so I decided to try 80. Here’s the dumbbell, 482 lights at 15 seconds, 80 gain.

Cashew woke me up at 1:30, and I noticed that we weren’t getting any more subs, so I looked for another target until astro dawn at 3:30. I nearly got the Helix Nebula, but it was behind a branch. Andromeda (M 31) was way behind a tree. So I grabbed the North America Nebula again. 478 subs, 15 seconds, 80 gain.
